Going Solo: Ambassador Solo Angler Heads to the Great Barrier Reef

One of our brand ambassadors, David Leonard aka Solo Angler, is one helluva fisherman.
We are proud to have him aboard. He’s one of those people that you admire for his exploration and bravado. David takes it to the max, when fishing his 188CC.
And he does it all by his lonesome. Some try to emulate the “survivor man” character. Some try to push a personality that relates to being alone in the outdoors. In his case, David just does it. And, he does it with passion.
When you think about fishing alone, it can be a version of solitude we wish we could achieve. But, it also allows one to see the wild blue in a form that isn’t dictated by others’ opinions. For now, we can just watch him have at it and enjoy.
He has himself. His tackle. And his reliable boat.
In this video, he heads to the Great Barrier Reef. A place that most just see in nature documentaries. David uses it as his backdoor to fishing grounds. He pulls in some monster kings, yellowfin tuna and others that will make you long for a trip to his home waters.
