A 26 Foot Boat Never Looked So Good!
Known as a premier builder of family–oriented center consoles, crossover and express models, EdgeWater Power Boats is proud to introduce the new 262 Deep–V Center Console. This new model, representing the latest evolution of EdgeWater’s market–leading design and technology, will debut at the 2016 Miami International Boat Show on February 11–15, 2016.
Designed to perform with twin engines, the EdgeWater 262CC is equipped with reliable Yamaha F200 or Yamaha F250 four–stroke outboards. An all–new deep–V hull design gives the EdgeWater 262CC superior performance, handling and ride.
This new 26 foot center console features EdgeWater’s most ergonomic and sophisticated deck design to date, along with the builder’s advanced SPI (Single Piece Infusion®) hull construction. The helm area and integrated hardtop with “Clear View” windshield are new innovations unlike anything introduced before. The 262CC’s aerodynamic design eliminates the use of vision–impairing aluminum tubing.
The 262CC also incorporates some of the best design elements from EdgeWater’s high–tech 368CC. The result is a boat that combines all the comforts of a dual console model with the performance and fish–ability of a center console. The 262CC has luxurious wraparound bow seating with integrated, forward–facing backrests and lockable rod storage. The Forward Entry Console opens to a spacious and well–appointed head compartment with generous storage space. The leaning post is a new, modern design available in many different configurations; options include a premium cooler, grill, sink, storage and/or cutting board. A starboard–side dive door is standard for added convenience and accessibility.
Stop by to see the new EdgeWater 262CC during the 2016 Miami International Boat Show at the Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin, Booth B–117, or at the in–water display at slips 562, 564, 566, & 568.
The 262CC also will be on display at the New England Boat Show in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center on February 13–21st.
EdgeWater’s Exclusive Single Piece Infusion® Process
With EdgeWater’s proprietary SPI (Single Piece Infusion) construction process, vinylester resin is vacuum–infused into the builder’s grid structures and the hull laminate in one step. By infusing them together, resin molecules in the grid harden at the exact same time as the resin in the fiberglass laminate, making it bond as one piece. SPI achieves a strength–to– weight ratio greater than open–molded, polyester boats, according to laboratory test results provided by Owens Corning. When combined with the sea keeping ability of EdgeWater’s variable deadrise deep–V hulls, SPI technology produces better handling, performance, fuel efficiency and range than other production boats of the same size, length and power.
